CALYPSO first took the stage in 2002 at Helsinki’s Hartwall Arena. Across 11 performances, it drew approximately 20,000 spectators — between 1,500 and 2,000 at each show.

The sea was part of the vision from the beginning. A vast screen of flowing water was installed onstage. But even that could not replace the real sea. Now CALYPSO is returning to the idea that inspired it.
