CREATED
FOR THE SEA
THE VISION
CALYPSO was created for the sea.
Not simply to be performed beside it, but to make the real sea part of the theatrical experience. Water, horizon, light and the changing sky become part of the stage — creating an experience that cannot be reproduced inside a conventional theatre.
To make this possible, the creator of CALYPSO developed a new kind of performance space: the Twin Shell Theatre — conceived both as a theatrical venue and as a landmark for international resort destinations.
CALYPSO was born on stage. Now it is returning to where it truly belongs — the sea.
